Not everyone who emigrates from other countries of origin to Pennsylvania does so with all the proper paperwork in order. A man in another state was recently arrested and placed in detention. Local authorities say they believe he murdered one of his co-workers. However, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers say they also have a case against the man, claiming he has been deported from the United States on multiple occasions.
Officials say the man was living under an alias when a SWAT team apprehended him at a hotel. They had reportedly hunted him down under suspicion that he had killed his colleague, with whom he was said to have had a long-standing feud. The man’s co-worker had been shot while riding a tractor.
The immigrant, whom ICE officials say is eligible for removal from the United States, is currently being held in a local county jail. The sheriff’s office posted a report online, stating that the man is charged with one count of murder as well as one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. The court has set bail at $5,000,000.
